In the end, you are left with a sense of bewilderment. You question about the meaning of it all. Was this intended to be funny?
Or were we just all part of a grand, cosmic prank?
A Disaster of Epic Proportions

Dreadful Day Ever
It all started with a case of bedhead hair. I couldn't figure it to look decent. As I was getting ready out the door, I fell and gracefully all over my new shoes. To make matters worse, I was completely behind schedule for a very important appointment.

A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
